New Patient Information in Tyler, TX

Copeland Creek Dental has been treating families in Tyler for more than 20 years. If you’re considering us, here’s what a first visit looks like, how we handle insurance as a fee-for-service practice, and what our membership plan covers.

What Your First Visit Looks Like

Dr. Jake Kirby or Dr. Jerrod Crawford will go through your dental history, ask what’s brought you in, and do a full evaluation of your teeth and gums before recommending anything.

If something needs attention, you’ll hear about it, along with your options and what happens if you wait. But you won’t be talked into a treatment plan on your first visit. We’d rather you leave understanding your mouth than holding an estimate you didn’t ask for.

Insurance and Payment

With most PPO dental plans, you have the freedom to choose your dentist and are not restricted to only the providers on your insurance company’s list. We are an independent provider, meaning we are not restricted to contractual agreements with dental insurance companies.

We’ve developed a reliable process to help you make the most of your available dental benefits while providing the high standard of personalized care you deserve. The great news is that we will do the hard part—the paperwork! We’ll come alongside you throughout the claims process and help you make the most of the benefits available through your plan.

We also have our Membership Plan, accept major credit cards, and offer financing through CareCredit, Cherry Financing, and Proceed Finance.

The Copeland Creek Dental Plan

If you don’t have dental insurance, or your plan covers little of what you’d actually use here, our in-office membership plan is usually the better math. Flat annual or monthly fee, no annual maximum, no waiting period.

Included every year:

  • Two exams
  • Two cleanings
  • Unlimited X-rays (excluding cone beam)
  • Unlimited emergency exams
  • Two fluoride varnish treatments
  • 15% off most other services

Adult

$499/year, or $49/month.

Dependents

$450/year or $45/month.

Child

$300/year, or $29/month.

Monthly plans have a one-time $50 activation fee.

For most patients, two cleanings and two exams a year is the whole routine — so the plan covers it outright and discounts anything beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re fee-for-service, so we’re not in-network with any plan. We do file claims on your behalf and can check your benefits before you commit to anything — call with your plan details and we’ll tell you what to expect.

Yes. Children, teens, adults, and seniors, all in one practice.

That’s common, and nobody here will make you feel bad about it. The first visit is figuring out where things stand and deciding what you want to do about it.

Call us. We take new patients with dental emergencies and will get you in as soon as we can — our emergency dentistry page has more on what to do.
